On this day, I pay tribute to a MAHAVIR CHAKRA WINNER Brigadier Sawai Bhawani singh of Jaipur. He was a young prince when he joined the army and achieved many honours.

He ascended the throne in 1970 following the death of His father and became Maharaja of Jaipur until the implementation of privy purse and abolition of royal entitlement.
Other than his Royal life, He was a brave soldier of Indian Army. After being admitted in hospital on April 17th 2011, he took a last breath due to Multi organ failure.
I take this opportunity to pay tribute to a Army man, A king an A rajput who has left his legacy. May his soul rest in peace.
